Mia is an amazing girl. She is about 2 years old, and she is a mixed breed, perhaps lab and pointer? Mia is a little bit insecure in new environments and would prefer a quieter home, with older children, if any at all. Mia is not aggressive, but does appear to have a more protective nature, and has only ever been around women and teenage girls. She would be great for a single woman, or single mother with older children. We believe she would do fine with men/boys if they are patient with her, and understanding that they may intimidate her some. She is pretty calm, but will play. She loves to sleep in the bed with her person, does great in a vehicle, and loves to go bye bye. Mia is leash trained, and would make a great jogging partner with a little exposure. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and on HW prevention.
This little fella is Pugsly, and he is quite a mess. He was pulled from a high kill shelter by a northern rescue. Before transport up north, one of the shelter volunteers took him to the vet, and when he tested positive for heartworms, the northern rescue was no longer able to take him. The shelter volunteer knew that returning him to the shelter was a definite death sentence and reached out to us, as we aren't afraid of this nasty heartworms!! So Puglsly became our little fella. He is a few years old, and is great with most everyone. He has been treated for heartworms, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. This guy is crate trained and does great In the house, though he did try to occasionally mark before surgery. He is now healthy and ready for adoption. His adoption fee is $75. He is located in Sapulpa.
Jasper was born into the rescue. He has been somewhat clumsy, and lacks graceful coordination. He's been this way since birth. We were afraid he may have been born with hydrocephalus, but he's gotten better with age, so it may be more of a mental handicap. He is now a little over a year old, a poodle mix, that is absolutely precious. He's been fully vetted and microchipped. His adoption fee is $125.
Gracie is a sweet little blue APBT girl. She is 9 months old and full of energy. She loves kids and gets along well with other dogs. She chases cats. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW negative, and microchipped. She has been started on HW/flea/tick prevention. She is working on house breaking and crate training. Her adoption fee is $75. She is located in Tulsa.
Burnie is somewhat of our rescue mascot. He has a whole page dedicated to him. Please check out his story!! Thank you!!
